Cherry Wood Hummingbird Serving Platter – 8 Compartments, 12.5 Inches Wide
Beautiful enough to display. Made to be used.
This handcrafted hummingbird serving platter combines functional serveware with detailed wood art.
Carved from solid cherry, the platter features a dimensional hummingbird surrounded by flowers, leaves and flowing botanical details. Around the carving are eight individual serving pockets, perfect for creating a beautiful assortment of nuts, candies, dried fruit, cheeses, crackers, olives and other favorite snacks.
When the party is over, there’s no reason to put this one in a cabinet.
The detailed hummingbird carving and beautiful natural grain of the cherry make this platter attractive enough to display on a stand as a piece of wood art between uses.
Details:
• Solid cherry hardwood with a food grade finish applied
• Approximately 12½” wide × 11” tall
• 8 individually carved serving pockets
• Detailed dimensional hummingbird and floral carving
• Perfect for nuts, candy, dried fruit, cheese and other snacks
• Beautiful enough to display when not being used
• Individually crafted and finished by Derek Smiley Woodworks in Idaho
Because this platter is made from genuine hardwood, every one will have its own unique grain, coloration and natural character. No two will ever be exactly alike.
It would make a wonderful gift for a hummingbird lover, gardener, bird watcher or anyone who appreciates handcrafted woodwork. It’s also a beautiful choice for weddings, anniversaries, housewarmings, Mother’s Day or Christmas.
And unlike most artwork, this one has somewhere to put the M&M’s. 😁
